HBcare was founded with a simple yet powerful mission: to support and strengthen the tourism ecosystem during its most challenging times while helping build a more sustainable future for generations to come.

Born amidst the unprecedented disruption of the COVID-19 pandemic, HBcare emerged as a humanitarian initiative dedicated to supporting small accommodation providers, homestays, and tourism dependent families whose livelihoods were severely impacted. During this critical period, HBcare mobilized a compassionate network of homestay owners and volunteers who opened their homes to provide quarantine accommodations and shelter for individuals in need, demonstrating the resilience and solidarity of the tourism community.

What began as a crisis-response initiative has since evolved into a movement for positive change. Today, HBcare drives meaningful impact through community support programs, sustainability initiatives, environmental conservation efforts, education, responsible tourism advocacy, and destination stewardship projects across India.

Powered by an independent network of passionate individuals united by a common purpose, HBcare works to preserve local culture and heritage, promote responsible travel, encourage cleanliness and environmental awareness in tourism destinations, and empower grassroots accommodation providers. Through the strength of small homestays and local tourism entrepreneurs, HBcare continues to create lasting change from the ground up quietly but consistently shaping a more inclusive, sustainable, and responsible future for tourism in India.

Our sustainability programs include: Solar energy awareness and facilitation Connecting property owners with government subsidy opportunities Promotion of renewable and clean energy adoption Waste management and responsible disposal practices Sustainability education and awareness campaigns Environmental webinars and knowledge-sharing sessions One-on-one sustainability consultations by local network partners Responsible resource consumption initiatives By helping tourism businesses adopt sustainable practices, we aim to create cleaner destinations, healthier communities, and better guest experiences.

Applications for assistance have arrived from every corner of the country, reflecting the challenges faced by countless family run homestays, guesthouses, and tourism entrepreneurs. Thanks to the generosity of compassionate individuals, families, corporate supporters, and our wider community, we have successfully extended support to more than 118 small hospitality businesses, helping them navigate difficult circumstances and continue serving their local communities. Today, the need remains significant. While we are deeply grateful for the support received so far, the resources that initially funded this initiative have now been fully utilized. New requests for assistance continue to arrive, and many deserving businesses are still seeking a helping hand. We believe that small hospitality businesses are more than just places to stay. They create employment, preserve local culture, support regional economies, and provide livelihoods for countless families across India. Since the onset of the coronavirus pandemic, businesses has been at the forefront of the response to the unprecedented health and economic crisis. The HBcare #SupportHomestays grants initiative was the result of A Few Generous Corporates and compassionate homestay owners, volunteers coming together to help the small businesses who were hit hardest to survive the economic impact.

How To Apply For A Grant ?

All HB Members Can Call Their Property Buddy To Apply.For Others Kindly Enroll Your Business First Afterwhich You Will Receive A Verification Call From Our End Confirming & Verifying The Authenticity Of Your Reason That You Have Applied For Afterwhch You Will Receive A Notification Determining Whether Your Application Has Been Approved Or Rejected On Basis Of Our Internal Verification Report. If Your Application Has Been Approved We Cannot Guarantee You Any Grants Immediately Grants Will Be Disbursed To Your Current Bank Account Subject To Availability Of Sufficient Funds & Severity Of Your Condition Only.
